Ed's Status:

Ed is currently at San Quentin State Prison near San Francisco. He is now currently active in the San Quentin Vietnam Veterans Group∞ and has joined the churches choir group... Ed has been moved out of the laundry department and is now a clerk working as the Video Librarian for San Quentin TV (as of 11/7/07). Ed will have access to a Macintosh computer and will be learning video editing skills as well as 3D modeling. He is also assisting in the installation of a fiber-optics cable crucial to the Library remodel and the improvement of SQTV's main systems.

Appeal Status: As of 09/07/05 Ed's appeal has been denied. While facing a less than 2% acceptance rate in California hopes were never high in the first place.

The California Innocence Project∞ has also sent Ed an application for their program. The C.I.P. represents inmates it believes are innocent in the state of California. It is my own hope that they will take up my fathers case. But, just like the appeal, things like this take a long time.

As of 05/08/07 Ed has decided to pursue options other than the C.I.P.
Pending feedback and advice we may revisit this option.

Update 11/14/07: We will be looking into a "writ of habeas corpus∞" soon.
